THINGS TO KNOW
BEFORE YOU GO
PLANNING YOUR TRIP
PLANNING YOUR TRIP
Please arrive 30 minutes prior to your flight departure.

OUR AIRCRAFT
Salt Island Airways operates a Cessna-206. This aircraft seats five passengers (plus pilot), with an accompanying cargo pod underneath, making it comfortable for in-flight passenger travel and the convenience to travel with luggage. Each passenger will have a window view and an assigned head set for chatting. Our flight patterns take us over some of Florida's pristine landscapes: Ten-Thousand Islands, Everglades National Park, Whitewater Bay, and Florida Bay. Our pilots are knowledgeable of the landscapes which we fly over and can answer any questions during the flight.
LUGGAGE GUIDELINES
Each customer is limited to a total of 30 pounds, and when traveling as a group, no individual bag shall weigh more than 30 pounds. Please keep in mind when packing that no solid fuels, flammable gas or liquids are allowed on the plane.
Please consider the round dimensions of the aircraft when choosing your luggage. Our aircraft can hold all of your luggage, but the shape of the aircraft does not allow for large bags to fit inside. All customers carrying conventional luggage must bring no larger than carry-on size luggage. If it does not fit in an overhead bin of an airline plane, please choose a different type of bag.
Small to medium sized soft sided bags are best. This includes duffel-type bags and backpacks.
Large international sized luggage will absolutely not fit inside the plane, regardless of their weight.
